The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of residential construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of residential construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Manage and coordinate the work of construction teams, subcontractors and consultants.
• Review and interpret construction blueprints, ensuring that all work is carried out according to the plans and specifications.
• Ensure that all work is conducted in a safe manner, in compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of construction.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Resolve any issues or problems that may arise during the construction process.
• Regularly communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects and engineers, to keep them informed of progress and any changes or issues.
• Provide leadership and direction to construction teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior supervisory role within the construction industry, with a focus on residential projects.
• Proven experience in site management, project management, team leadership, strategic planning, problem‑solving, communication, construction planning, safety compliance, quality control, construction safety and blueprint reading.
• A thorough understanding of all stages of the construction process, from initiation to completion.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and coordinate the work of construction teams, subcontractors and consultants.
