Job summary

Harkins Builders seeks a Superintendent 2 to lead multi-trade construction in the Baltimore/Washington DC area. You will manage field teams, coordinate design and trade partners, and drive safety, quality, and schedule adherence on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive experience in construction.
• Proficient with estimating, scheduling, budget/control and reporting.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and contract docs.
• Experience managing subcontracts and negotiations.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple trade partners across construction phases.
• Lead field team from notice to post-construction (warranty).
• Mentor superintendents and assistants for development.
• Maintain client, design team, and inspector relationships.
• Ensure safety, quality, and scheduling adherence on projects.
• Oversee trade partner scheduling, drawings, and conflicts.
