Harkins Builders, Inc. in Winchester, VA seeks a Superintendent to supervise project engineers, assistants, and trades, driving safety, quality and on-time delivery.

You will mentor field staff and coordinate with design teams and trade partners to resolve field issues, supporting seamless installation and a strong project culture. Responsibilities include managing multiple trades, leading meetings, maintaining as-built drawings, and ensuring project documentation in Procore.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of progressive experience in construction.
• Proficient with estimating, scheduling, budget/cost control, negotiation, field supervision, and financial reporting.
• Working knowledge of interpreting plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Familiarity with AIA contract documents and cost-plus GMP contracts.
• Ability to lead, coach, and train team members.
• Strong organizational, leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise project engineers, assistant superintendents, trainees, and direct labor.
• Coordinate with design team and trade partners to resolve field issues.
• Lead meetings and maintain minutes in Procore.
• Ensure timely project reviews and on-site quality control.
• Maintain as-built drawings and oversee safety and production.
• Manage trade partner scheduling to avoid conflicts and costly delays.
• Monitor subcontract administration and cost reporting.
