Harkins Builders, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead project engineers, assistant superintendents, and trades from notice to proceed through warranty.

You will coordinate design teams with trade partners, manage schedules, quality, safety, and costs, and mentor junior staff. The role emphasizes strong leadership, effective communication, and hands-on management on diverse projects, including smaller ones, with a focus on delivering high-quality installations on

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive construction experience.
• Proficient in estimating, scheduling, budget/cost control, negotiation, field supervision, and financial reporting.
• Ability to interpret plans, specs, and contract documents.
• Experience managing subcontracts and project scope.
• Lead, coach, and train team members effectively.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project engineers, assistants, trainees, and direct labor.
• Coordinate multiple trade partners across construction phases.
• Manage project from notice to proceed to warranty on smaller projects.
• Mentor field staff and assume superintendent duties if needed.
• Resolve field issues between design and trade partners.
• Lead trade partner progress meetings and document minutes.
• Maintain project schedules, quality, safety, and on-site as-builts.
• Ensure seamless installation of work by trade partners.
• Maintain organization of jobsite and office, and client relations.
