Overview

RSP Group is partnered with a leading General Contractor to appoint a Senior Superintendent with proven expertise in data center construction. This role will oversee field operations, ensuring complex, mission-critical projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Location

Location: Multiple locations across the U.S. Travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities for large-scale data center projects.
• Coordinate daily field operations, including subcontractor management, logistics, scheduling, and quality control.
• Drive safety culture across the jobsite, ensuring strict compliance with OSHA standards and company protocols.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and client representatives to align execution with project goals.
• Oversee MEP installation, equipment integration, commissioning activities, and turnover requirements.
• Monitor project progress, resolve field conflicts, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget.
• Review drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure constructability and compliance.
• Mentor Assistant Superintendents and field staff, fostering professional growth and development.
• Partner with design and engineering teams to proactively address technical challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of construction experience, including at least 5 years in a Superintendent role on mission-critical or large-scale commercial projects.
• Track record of delivering multiple $50M+ data center or mission-critical projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, power and cooling infrastructure, and commissioning processes.
• Demonstrated expertise in scheduling, logistics planning, and subcontractor coordination.
• Proficiency with Procore, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills in high-pressure environments.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
