Job summary

JE Dunn Construction's Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Superintendent 1 to plan, manage and execute projects in Charlotte, NC. You will oversee material and equipment, help with people management, and ensure documentation supports timely, profitable completion in line with JE Dunn’s values.

Responsibilities include leading safety initiatives, coordinating with subcontractors and the project team, tracking budgets, schedules, and quality, and supporting project closeouts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 3+ years construction experience.
• 1+ years field supervision experience.
• Ability to manage budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and on-site activities.
• Manages subcontractors and work plans.
• Develops and tracks project schedule and costs.
• Coordinates with owners, design team and authorities.
• Prepares and participates in project reviews and closeouts.
