Job summary

Altera Digital Health is seeking a Sr Implementation Consultant to drive the digital transformation of healthcare by deploying Sunrise EMR Core and Ambulatory solutions for clinics in North America. You will lead end-to-end implementation, workflows optimization, and on-site support across projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on healthcare IT implementation and configuration experience.
• Strong, demonstrated functional knowledge of an EMR/EHR system.
• Specific expertise in Altera Sunrise EMR (Core or Ambulatory) preferred; Epic or Meditech valued with clinic workflow knowledge.
• Must have experience on formal implementation project teams delivering EMR systems.
• Clinical background preferred.
• Technical background in SQL or SSRS reporting preferred.
• Proven client presentation and written/oral communication skills.
• Project management experience with multiple priorities over long-term implementations.
• History of quickly learning new information.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Sunrise EMR Core and Ambulatory at client sites, primarily in Manitoba, as part of the larger project team.
• Perform project workplan tasks per contracted scope with PMs, Solution Architects, and CMIOs.
• Conduct complex system configuration with high-level client guidance.
• Provide expert workflow consultation for ambulatory processes and translate paper workflows to electronic.
• Identify and resolve system and workflow issues during implementation.
• Provide activation support and strive to meet client utilization targets.
• Set expectations with stakeholders from end-users to CMIOs and manage them through the project lifecycle.
• Foster stakeholder engagement to ensure successful project delivery.
