Job summary

Altera Digital Health, a Sunrise EMR specialist, is seeking a Sr Implementation Consultant Core/Ambulatory for remote U.S. deployment across Manitoba clinics.

You will lead deployment of Sunrise EMR Core and Ambulatory modules, plus related products like DBmotion, CPM, Opal, and Patient Portal, guiding clients through the implementation life cycle. You'll translate paper workflows into optimized electronic processes, perform complex configuration, and collaborate with PMs, architects, and CMIOs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience required.
• 2+ years of hands-on healthcare IT implementation and configuration experience.
• Strong, demonstrated functional knowledge of an EMR/EHR system.
• Experience with Sunrise EMR (Core or Ambulatory) preferred; Epic or Meditech knowledge valued with clinic workflow expertise.
• Experience on formal implementation project teams rolling out EMR systems.
• Clinical background preferred; SME with clinic rollout experience.
• Technical background in SQL or SSRS reporting preferred.
• Excellent client communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Project management experience in long-term implementations.

Responsibilities

• Implement the full suite of Altera software solutions, focusing on Sunrise EMR at client sites in Manitoba.
• Work as part of a project team with PMs, Solution Architects, Clinical Consultants, and CMIOs.
• Perform complex system configuration tasks and provide high‑level guidance to clients.
• Provide expert workflow consultation on ambulatory processes, translating paper workflows to electronic formats.
• Identify and resolve system and workflow issues during the project.
• Provide activation support and meet client utilization targets.
• Set expectations with stakeholders and manage them through the project lifecycle.
• Anticipate client needs and maintain strong stakeholder engagement.
