Job summary

Altera Digital Health is seeking a Senior Implementation Consultant on our Professional Services team to deploy Sunrise EMR Core and Ambulatory, plus related products, across Manitoba. You will lead workflow consulting, configuration, and activation, collaborating with PMs, Solution Architects, CMIOs, and clinical staff to translate paper workflows into optimized electronic processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on healthcare IT implementation and configuration experience.
• Strong, demonstrated functional knowledge of an EMR/EHR system.
• Sunrise EMR Core or Ambulatory experience preferred; Epic or Meditech valued if paired with clinic workflows.
• Experience in formal EMR implementation projects.
• Clinical background preferred (SME with clinic rollout experience).
• Project management experience; capable of managing multiple priorities during a long‑term implementation cycle (~12 months).
• Excellent client presentations and written/oral communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Implement Sunrise EMR Core and Ambulatory at client sites in Manitoba.
• Collaborate with PMs, Solution Architects, Clinical Consultants, and CMIOs.
• Perform complex configuration tasks and provide guidance on configuration to clients.
• Deliver expert workflow consultation for registration, scheduling, and clinical documentation.
• Identify, resolve, or escalate issues throughout the implementation project.
• Provide activation support to meet transformation targets.
• Set expectations with stakeholders from end-users to executive leadership and manage them through the project life cycle.
• Anticipate client needs and maintain strong stakeholder engagement for successful delivery.
