Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering with 5+ years' experience.
• PE license preferred in CA/WA/OR or ability to obtain within 3–12 months.
• Experience with substation structure design, rigid bus and foundation design.
• Strong background in steel and concrete structures, geotechnical engineering, and foundations.
• Experience performing design reviews and leading junior staff.
• Willingness for site visits and travel to client facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews of civil/structural components for substation projects.
• Develop junior staff and mentor engineers and designers.
• Ensure designs comply with industry codes and seismic loading requirements.
• Support bid/construction package development and client communications.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and drafters to ensure project success.
