Job summary

GFT is seeking an experienced Substation P & C Designer in Marlton, NJ, to join our Power Group. The role involves designing high-voltage substation projects ranging from 4 kV to 765 kV.

Responsibilities include generating engineering deliverables, conducting engineering calculations, and developing control diagrams. The position offers a hybrid work model and a competitive salary between $85,000 and $100,000, depending on experience and location.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant substation or general electrical T&D designing experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Knowledge of NESC, NEC, and IEEE standards.
• Ability to apply project schedules to complete tasks on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute high-voltage substation projects.
• Generate detailed engineering deliverables.
• Complete basic engineering calculations.
• Develop one- and three-line diagrams and schematics.
• Compile relay and control materials for projects.
