Job summary

Dashiell is seeking a Project Manager in Cary, NC, to lead turnkey construction projects for high voltage substations and transmission lines. You will plan, execute, and monitor activities ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in electrical or civil engineering, 10 years in related work, and strong leadership, financial, and communication skills. Travel to sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil Engineering, or equivalent is required.
• 10 years experience in the design, construction, or operations of substations and/or transmission lines is required.
• 10 years of experience in supervision/management of budgets and work groups is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the cost, schedule, safety, quality and completion of construction projects.
• Coordinate work with Purchasing to ensure materials are expedited and received as needed.
• Manage multiple project teams.
• Prepare and maintain cash flows, monthly billing, change orders, and financials.
• Prepare and maintain monthly construction progress reports and re-projections.
• Resolve inter-group conflicts and delays to meet goals.
• Travel to project sites as required (short/overnight).
• Other duties as required.
