Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years post-education experience in design for power generation, transmission and distribution.
• Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
• Proficiency with electrical engineering principles, design/build processes, permitting and project work.
• Experience with infrastructure design and coordinating with P&C, SCADA, and telecom.

Responsibilities

• Support Area Lead/Department Manager to achieve department goals.
• Manage schedules, budgets, quality, and deliverables for substation projects.
• Provide QA/QC reviews for technical deliverables before client submission.
• Lead technical documentation including reports, calculations, and exhibits.
• Mentor engineers and designers across projects.
• Communicate with clients, regulators, and project teams to ensure alignment.
