Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Substation Project Engineering Manager to lead a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians across challenging substation projects. The role includes managing budgets, schedules, and design quality while engaging with clients on proposals and business development.

Based in a hybrid environment with potential flexibility after onboarding, the candidate will drive technical leadership and ensure high standards across project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, MVR) as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline teams of engineers and technicians.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and quality for projects across design services and EPC programs.
• Oversee design quality and client-facing aspects including proposals and business development.
• Provide technical leadership for complex substation projects and drive solutions to achieve project goals.
