Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for substation projects in a hybrid work environment. The role involves leading design efforts, developing protection and control schemes, and coordinating with clients, vendors and internal teams.

Ideal candidates bring extensive HV substation experience, project leadership, and a PE license or equivalent credentials, with opportunities for travel and professional growth within a global employer-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 11 years related work experience in electrical engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or required where applicable.

Responsabilités

• Provide project coordination, guidance and expertise on substation projects.
• Develop protection and control design deliverables and equipment wiring.
• Prepare electrical equipment specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Coordinate design activities with multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
• Mentor less experienced team members and participate in business development.
