Job summary

WSP USA seeks a POWER Testing and Energization Senior P&C Field Services Technician to support projects across Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, and Utah. You will perform on-site testing and commissioning of protection and control systems in HV substations and power networks.

Lead field activities, apply safety standards, and document results using advanced relay test equipment such as Omicron CMC 256/356 and Doble F6150. Travel up to 80% is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years in electrical testing, including HV equipment and protection testing.
• Proven experience with transmission, generation, or distribution relays and protective schemes.
• Calibrate relays using Omicron/Doble test sets and upload settings to microprocessor relays.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and commissioning of Protection and Control systems on high voltage substations.
• Lead on-site field activities and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Document field activities using digital tools and maintain logs.
