Job summary

Black & Veatch invites applications for a Senior Electrical Engineering Technician in the Substation P&C Designer track. You will support advanced design work using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and AutoCAD Electrical to create detailed 2D/3D deliverables across substations and transmission projects.

Responsibilities include creating schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts, while ensuring adherence to project budgets, schedules, and standards.

Qualifications

• Typically a minimum of 11 years related work experience.
• Associate degree in drafting/engineering design tech required.
• Bachelor degree in engineering design tech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify detailed design drawings using CAD/BIM tools.
• Develop protection and control schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Coordinate with engineers and other designers to meet project standards.
• Review deliverables for quality, accuracy, and compliance with codes.
