Job summary
Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineering Technician to support physical substation design, including layouts, grounding, raceways, and connections for high-voltage infrastructure. The role emphasizes creating 2D/3D deliverables using MicroStation, AutoCAD, Inventor and Revit, under minimal supervision.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
- Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design related technology required.
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering Design related technology preferred.
Responsibilities
- Functions as a senior engineering technician, technical design specialist, and/or supervisor.
- Applies advanced technical expertise to solve complex design challenges.
- Contributes to development of innovative engineering solutions.
- Uses CAD, BIM, and 3D modeling tools to create and maintain technical drawings.
- Provides guidance to other technicians to ensure quality and compliance.
- Reviews design inputs and ensures deliverables meet codes and standards.
