Job summary
Black & Veatch seeks a Senior Electrical Engineering Technician – Substation P&C Designer to support the design and delivery of critical electrical infrastructure. You will work under minimal supervision, creating and modifying detailed 2D/3D deliverables using MicroStation, AutoCAD, and AutoCAD Electrical alongside protection and control schematics.

Qualifications
- Typically a minimum of 11 years related work experience.
- Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology required.
- Bachelor Degree in an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
Responsibilities
- Functions as a senior engineering technician, technical design specialist, and/or supervisor.
- Applies advanced technical expertise to solve complex design challenges within a specific engineering discipline.
- Uses digital tools and design software with standardized procedures to create, modify, and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables.
- Reviews project requirements to determine correct formats and deliverable content.
- Promotes quality and consistency across projects, groups, and sections.
