Job summary
Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineering Technician - Physical Substation Designer. The role focuses on developing 2D/3D substation drawings and models using Bentley MicroStation, AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit, with emphasis on equipment layouts, grounding, raceways, and foundations.

Qualifications
- Associate degree required in drafting or engineering design related technology.
- Bachelor degree in engineering design related technology preferred.
Responsibilities
- Functions as a senior engineering technician, technical design specialist, and/or supervisor.
- Applies advanced technical expertise to solve complex design challenges within a specific engineering discipline.
- Contributes to the development of innovative engineering solutions.
- Uses CAD, BIM, and 3D modeling tools to create, modify, and maintain technical documentation.
- Provides consultation and oversight to other technicians to ensure quality and compliance.
- Reviews design inputs to ensure alignment and consistency.
