Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Substation Foreman to supervise and coordinate substation construction and maintenance activities. This role requires commanding a crew, ensuring safety, and providing technical guidance on high/low voltage work while meeting project goals.

Candidates should have extensive field experience, CDL, tool ownership, and the ability to read and interpret drawings. This is a high-demand, travel-heavy position with responsibilities across sites and projects.

Qualifications

• Able to perform rigorous physical labor.
• Must possess a Commercial Drivers’ License.
• Must supply own personal hand tools required by the company for this work.
• Must supply own safety toed work boots.
• Must be capable of lifting in excess of 50 lbs.
• Must be capable of working in confined spaces/areas.
• Must be able to work independently or with others.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate substation construction and maintenance activities.
• Direct work and provide technical assistance to crew members.
• Maintain safety and work quality across the crew; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Review and interpret substation drawings and communicate with customers and subordinates.
• Assist in job estimation and participate in pre-bid and pre-construction meetings.
