Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC seeks a Foreman to supervise electrical overhead distribution work across multiple locations. The role involves coaching crews, performing hot-stick operations on energized lines, and leading safety-focused field activities.

Responsibilities include pre-job briefings, pole setting, transformer installation, troubleshooting, and maintaining gear. Candidates must meet field experience requirements, hold a CDL, communicate in English, and endure outdoor, physically demanding work

Qualifications

• 5-year minimum of recent field experience.
• Able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Coordinates and inspects the work of crew members.
• Able to travel long distances on short notice, when required.
• Able to work for extended periods in various locations, when required.
• Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
• Able to properly inspect rubber goods and PPE.
• Comply with company reporting procedures and complete required company paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Coach crew members on safe line work and procedures.
• Lead and teach hot stick work on energized lines.
• Conduct pre-job or tailgate briefings.
• Set poles and anchors; string overhead wire.
• Install transformers, arrestors, crossarms, insulators and switches.
• Troubleshoot and supervise faulted circuits on primary/secondary systems.
• Identify and locate puller and tensioner setups; manage line clearances.
• Perform reconductoring and operate high voltage equipment safely.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment and PPE; work outdoors in variable weather.
