Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with substantial substations experience. You will define projects, develop schedules and budgets, and drive profitability while coordinating with engineers, clients, and subcontractors to deliver safe, compliant facilities.

Responsibilities include change management, risk review, daily communication, preparing bid packages and monthly reports, mentoring junior PMs, and ensuring timely invoicing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 13+ years of relevant work experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required (within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list).

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for projects.
• Prepares detailed statements of work with budgets and gains concurrence from stakeholders.
• Manages project costs and ensures profitability.
• Prepares and reviews client billings and ensures timely payments; approves subcontractor invoices.
• Monitors project risks and escalates as needed.
• Coordinates and monitors technical work of each task/deliverable.
• Prepares monthly reports and bid packages; distributes addendums.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers.
