Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with substantial substations experience. You will define project scope, develop schedules and budgets, and manage costs and profitability across projects.

Responsibilities include preparing statements of work, client billings, and subcontractor payments, while coordinating change management and risk escalation. Mentors junior PMs and leads monthly reporting and closeout activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 13+ years of relevant work experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives.
• Prepares statements of work with work breakdown structures and gains approval.
• Manages project costs and profitability.
• Prepares client billings and ensures payments; approves subcontractor invoices.
• Monitors project status and escalates risks as needed.
• Coordinates change management and communicates deadlines to teams.
• Prepares overall project schedule and in-house budgets by group.
• Facilitates meetings with stakeholders and mentors junior PMs.
• Prepares monthly reports and bid packages.
