Job summary

The Perry Group, a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with substantial substation experience. You will define and schedule projects, manage budgets, and lead cross-functional teams to meet client expectations and ensure profitability.

Responsibilities include preparing work plans, controlling costs, coordinating with engineering and field teams, and delivering projects on time. Travel is expected; PMP/CCM/DBIA certs are required within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 13+ years of relevant work experience.
• PMP/CCM/DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives.
• Prepares statements of work with work breakdown structures and gains concurrence from stakeholders.
• Manages project costs and profitability.
• Invoicing and payment follow-up; approves subcontractor invoices for timely payment.
• Monitors project status and escalates risks as needed.
• Manages changes using change management protocols.
• Communicates deadlines and assigns tasks to team members.
• Prepares overall project schedule and budgets by group responsibility.
• Facilitates meetings with stakeholders.
• Guides engineering disciplines on code reviews and issue resolution.
• Coordinates submittals to agencies; ensures project deliverables.
