Job summary

Dashiell, part of Quanta Services, seeks a Supervising Substation Engineer for our Dallas, TX office. You will oversee design teams, drive profitability, and ensure schedule adherence across multiple substation projects.

The role requires extensive substation engineering knowledge, leadership of multi-discipline teams, and a PE license with ability to obtain in-state licensure within a year. Travel and advanced software experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE); if registered in a state other than where the engineer will practice, must obtain within one year of hire.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the electrical power industry, with extensive substation engineering and design experience.
• Experience managing a design team with multi-discipline engineers, designers, and drafters.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and profitability objectives.
• Supervise multiple project teams to ensure on-time completion of projects.
• Assign projects to engineering teams based on requirements, schedule, and personnel availability.
• Coordinate with construction and purchasing to meet milestones and budgets.
• Ensure teams use project standards and progress efficiently.
• Communicate project activities with customers, teams, and management.
