Job summary

Sargent & Lundy in Puerto Rico is seeking an experienced Substation Engineer Consultant to lead project teams of engineers, designers, estimators, controls and scheduling professionals in the design, modification, and analysis of high voltage substations.

You will direct detailed design phases, coordinate with civil, structural and transmission teams, and drive on-time, in-budget delivery while supporting client relations and business development.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in engineering required.
• 10+ years in design engineering/management of HV utility projects.
• Experience with EPC/Owners Engineer/Traditional or Joint Ventures.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (read, speak, write).

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams consisting of engineers, designers, estimators, controls and schedulers.
• Coordinate with civil, structural and transmission teams.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and with high quality.
• Develop scope changes and coordinate with clients for approval.
• Support business development opportunities with existing and potential clients.

PE license

PMP Certification
