Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Substation Engineer Consultant in Massachusetts. You will manage project teams of engineers, designers, estimators, controls and scheduling professionals for the design, modification and analysis of high voltage substations.

The role supports hybrid work with three days in-office and two remote days, and offers a generous relocation package depending on location. Candidates should have 10+ years in related design or management and strong client liaison capabilities.

Qualifications

• This position requires a B.S. Engineering degree.
• 10+ years in design engineering or management of high-voltage projects.
• Experience with EPC, Owners Engineer, Traditional or Joint Ventures a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communications are a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams of engineers, designers, estimators, controls and schedulers.
• Coordinate design phases and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, and transmission teams.
• Prepare reports per client requirements and company formats.
• Support business development and client liaison activities.
