Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Senior Substation Electrical Manager to lead design and project execution for North America. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, drive client engagements, and ensure compliance with codes and standards across HV/EHV substation projects.

The role requires directing design activities, managing budgets, and mentoring junior engineers while collaborating with Power Delivery & Renewable groups to deliver reliable energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• PE license is preferred for senior leadership in Substation design.

Responsibilities

• Participate in substation design at all project stages from concept to construction.
• Coordinate design activities and maintain project schedules.
• Lead preparation of project estimates, engineering estimates, proposals, and client engagement.
• Manage and grow Substation Electrical team; mentor staff and perform quality reviews.
• Act as PM, Proposal Manager, Program Manager, Account Manager and Technical Lead.
• Provide QA/QC on work and engage with clients, contractors and vendors.
