Job summary

Worley is seeking a Lead Substation Electrical Engineer to design substations for 69kV and above. You will lead a team, perform system studies, prepare drawings, and coordinate with clients. A PE in the United States and 12+ years of supervisory substation experience are required.

The role requires travel to job sites and delivering high-quality engineering deliverables within project budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 12+ years of experience in substation design including supervisory experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of substations and switchyards for 69kV and above.
• Prepare specifications and procurement support.
• Prepare engineering drawings and layouts for major equipment and structures.
• Perform power system studies including load flow, short circuit, and coordination.
• Provide technical direction and supervise engineers on projects.
• Ensure quality assurance to Worley and client standards.
• Interface with customers and travel to job sites as required.
