Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a highly motivated Senior Substation Electrical Engineer to join the Power Delivery team in Hanover, Maryland. The role involves overseeing the engineering and design of substation projects and ensuring quality assurance standards are met. This position requires strong collaboration with various engineering teams and direct client engagement.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in substation projects, a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, and proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD. The role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits, including health insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience within substation projects from 4 kV to 500 kV.
• Experience with physical layouts, sections & elevations, bus configurations, grounding, and all aspects of substation design.
• Proficient in engineering software to complete substation design.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for engineering, design, and delivery of substation projects.
• Lead preparation of project estimates and client engagement.
• Mentor junior team members and conduct quality assurance.
