Job summary
Black & Veatch, a leader in engineering and infrastructure, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineering Technician to support physical substation design and deliver high-quality 2D/3D drawings using Bentley MicroStation, AutoCAD, Inventor and Revit. You will develop equipment layouts, grounding layouts, conduit design, and construction packages while collaborating with engineers and project teams.

Qualifications
- Typically a minimum of 11 years related work experience.
- Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design Technology required.
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
Responsibilities
- Function as a senior engineering technician and design specialist.
- Create, modify, and maintain 2D/3D substation design drawings using CAD/BIM tools.
- Ensure design compliance with codes and project standards.
- Provide guidance to junior technicians and coordinate with engineers.
- Support design reviews and documentation with accurate deliverables.
