Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation seeks a Senior Engineering Technician to support 2D/3D deliverables for complex substation projects. You will create and modify drawings using MicroStation, AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit, and ensure designs meet project standards.

In this role, you will mentor technicians, coordinate with design groups, and assist with budgeting, schedules, and quality control while contributing to field activities as needed.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of related work experience in engineering design.
• Experience with CAD/BIM tools for substation projects.
• Ability to explain complex design concepts to project teams.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain technical drawings and project deliverables.
• Provide guidance to other engineering technicians to ensure quality and consistency.
• Ensure designs comply with codes and standards and align with project requirements.
• Coordinate with other design groups to exchange information and support development.
• Support field activities as required.
