Qualifications
- Eight+ years in utility consulting, design engineering, and technical reviews.
- BS in Civil/Structural Engineering; MS preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and structural software.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
Responsibilities
- Drive QA for civil/structural components of substation projects.
- Lead design reviews across steel and concrete structures.
- Oversee bid and construction package development within scope and budget.
- Act as lead engineer on client projects with technical oversight.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster collaboration.
- Represent Leidos in client meetings and industry events.
- Conduct site visits to substation facilities to inform design.
- Champion quality control and safe work practices.
