Job summary
Leidos Engineering seeks a Licensed Senior Civil/Structural Engineer with 5+ years in the utility industry, for design reviews and project leadership. Expect site-visits to substations and travel for client meetings in a senior role within a team of engineers, designers, and drafters.

Qualifications
- PE License required in applicable states or ability to obtain licensure within 3–12 months.
- SE licensure is preferred.
- Experience with Word/Excel/PowerPoint & MATHCAD required.
- Experience with RISA 3-D, STAAD.Pro, FAD, SAG10, and LPILE required.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation required.
- Strong analytical and technical writing skills.
- Team player with ability to communicate with clients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead design reviews of civil/structural components for substation projects.
- Develop junior staff members and oversee project execution.
- Perform site-visits to client substations and travel for meetings and events.
- Ensure compliance with quality control, scope, schedule and budget.
