Job summary

Allstate is seeking a Senior Subrogation Attorney to lead complex auto and property subrogation matters from investigation through resolution. You will collaborate with claims partners and business stakeholders to drive recovery strategies and provide legal guidance.

The role requires California licensure, a strong litigation background, and comfort with a remote work environment and travel within California for trials as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of litigation experience in insurance defense, subrogation, personal injury, or related fields.
• Ability to independently manage a substantial litigation caseload from inception to resolution.
• Experience conducting depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and other proceedings.
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures, negotiation, and dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex auto and property subrogation matters from investigation through resolution.
• Provide legal guidance to claims partners and business stakeholders.
• Negotiate favorable recovery outcomes with carriers and third parties.
• Represent Allstate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
