Qualified candidates hold a Juris Doctorate and California Bar, with 4+ years of litigation experience including subrogation and insurance defense. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate required and active California State Bar membership.
• 4+ years of litigation experience, including insurance defense/subrogation.
• Experience conducting depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; LexisNexis or similar legal research tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex auto and property subrogation litigation from investigation to resolution.
• Lead negotiations with carriers, attorneys, and third parties for optimal recoveries.
• Prepare witnesses, conduct depositions, and represent Allstate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Monitor laws and case law affecting subrogation recoveries and strategy.
