Job summary
Allstate is seeking a Senior Subrogation Attorney to lead complex auto and property subrogation matters from investigation through resolution. You will provide strategic legal guidance to claims partners and business stakeholders while representing Allstate in court, arbitration, mediation, and trial proceedings.
Applicants must be licensed to practice in California and reside in CA, WA, AZ, NV, or OR. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered, and a remote work setup with travel to California trials
Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate required.
- Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar required.
- 4+ years of litigation experience, including insurance defense, subrogation, personal injury, property damage litigation, or related areas.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex auto and property subrogation litigation from investigation through resolution.
- Investigate and evaluate subrogation opportunities, determine liability and damages, and develop recovery strategies.
- Lead negotiations with carriers, attorneys, and third parties for favorable recoveries.
- Provide legal counsel to claims teams and stakeholders on litigation risks and strategy.
- Prepare and present witnesses, conduct depositions, and represent the Company in hearings and arbitrations.
