Northrop Grumman's Space Sector invites you to bring your pioneering spirit to our collaborative teams. As a Supply Chain Subcontracts Specialist, Level 4 or 5, you will define the art of the possible from day one in Redondo Beach, CA, or other listed sites.

Remote work is not available. You will guide subcontracting processes, train junior staff, and support audits, with opportunities to reduce costs and strengthen supplier management across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience
• Master's degree with 6+ years of related experience
• Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
• Experience with Subcontracts, Procurement, Contracts or other related field
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship a prerequisite)

Responsibilities

• Provide subcontracting process and compliance guidance to junior Subcontract Specialists and teams
• Coordinate content for Division Subcontracts Community of Excellence meetings
• Train junior personnel in Northrop Grumman's PrOP
• Serve as GSC focal point for internal and external audits
• Work toward long-range goals with minimal supervision
• Provide CID process subject matter expertise and support CID packages
• Negotiate subcontract provisions and administer subcontracts
• Develop subcontract specs and terms for procurement of materials, equipment, and services
• Identify strategies to reduce costs and manage risk via negotiations
