Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Supply Chain Subcontracts Specialist (Level 4 or 5) to join our team. Location options include Redondo Beach, CA; Aurora, CO; Boulder, CO; Huntsville, AL; or Baltimore, MD. Remote work is not available.

The role focuses on defining the art of the possible in subcontract management and cost-effective procurement strategies. Responsibilities span guidance, audits support, bid packages, negotiations, and CID expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s with 6+ years of related experience.
• Experience with Subcontracts, Procurement, Contracts or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Provide subcontracting process and compliance guidance to junior specialists and teams.
• Coordinate content for Division Subcontracts Community of Excellence meetings.
• Train junior personnel in NG’s PrOP.
• Serve as GSC focal for audits and information requests.
• Work toward long-range goals with independent judgment.
• Provide CID process subject-matter expertise.
• Support supplier and subcontract management.
• Provide surge support for bids and subcontract execution; develop specs and terms; negotiate and select subcontractors.
