Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Supply Chain Subcontracts Specialist Level 2 to join our onsite team in San Diego, CA. You will develop subcontract specs, coordinate with contracts and engineering, and manage suppliers to ensure delivery and compliance.

Role requires knowledge of FAR/DFARS, negotiation skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize cost and performance. Security clearance is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or Supply Chain discipline from an accredited university and 2+ years of subcontracts, supplier management, procurement or project management experience or a Masters Degree in a Business or Supply Chain discipline from an accredited university . We will consider 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with subcontracts.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with both large businesses and small businesses on a variety of complex-type contracts.
• Must have an understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
• Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.
• Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings.
