Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Supply Chain Subcontracts Specialist (Level 4/5) to join our Space Sector. The role focuses on guiding subcontracting processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting proposals from bid to award across multiple US sites.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate content for excellence meetings, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to reduce costs and manage risk. A U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 8+ years in Subcontracts/Procurement/Contracts
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Experience with Subcontracts, Procurement, Contracts or related field

Responsibilities

• Provide subcontracting guidance to junior specialists and teams across the division
• Coordinate content for Subcontracts Community of Excellence meetings and open hours
• Train junior personnel in NG’s PrOP
• Serve as GSC focal point for audits with sector colleagues
• Support proposals and execution of subcontracts from bid to award, including bid packages and negotiations
• Identify strategies to reduce costs and manage risk through supplier negotiations
