Job summary
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Supply Chain/ Principal Subcontract Specialist to join our Global Supply Chain team in El Segundo, CA or Rancho Bernardo, CA. This role is 100% on-site with a 9/80 schedule and every other Friday off.
The position requires managing subcontract sourcing, negotiation and administration; coordinating with legal, contracts, finance and engineering; and ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS while driving cost savings and supplier performance on
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of related experience in procurement/subcontracts.
- Experience with SAP/MRP or similar business software.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance in a reasonable time.
Responsibilities
- Source and procure complex goods and services.
- Own subcontract sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, award, execution, administration and closeout phases.
- Coordinate with legal, contracts, finance, planning, operations, program management, engineering and quality.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance across cost, schedule, technical and quality.
- Support program risk and opportunity management.
