Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Supply Chain Subcontracts Specialist (Level 4 or 5) to drive procurement strategy in multiple locations, including Baltimore, MD. The role emphasizes subcontract management, CID support, and cross-functional collaboration within the Division.

You will lead negotiations, prepare bid packages, and ensure compliance with procurement standards while supporting audits and process improvements. Remote work is not available; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field; 8+ years of relevant experience
• Will consider 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
• Experience with Subcontracts, Procurement, Contracts or related field
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide subcontracting process and compliance guidance to teams and leads
• Coordinate content for Division Subcontracts Community of Excellence meetings
• Train junior personnel in PrOP
• Serve as Division GSC focal point for audits and responses to information requests
• Own assignments with minimal oversight and work toward long-range goals
• Support CID processes and CID packages; manage supplier/subcontract aspects
• Negotiate subcontract provisions, select subcontractors, and write awards
• Develop subcontract specs, work statements, and terms for procurement of materials and services
• Identify strategies to reduce costs and manage risk through negotiations
