Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a Supply Chain Subcontracts Specialist at Level 4 or 5 to join our Space Sector. The role is based in Redondo Beach, CA, with multiple other U.S.

locations; remote work is not available. You will guide subcontract processes, train teammates, and support audits while developing terms for complex procurements. The position requires a bachelor’s (or master’s) in a related field with substantial procurement experience and the ability to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field with 8+ years of experience (Level 4) or 12+ years for Level 5
• Experience with Subcontracts, Procurement, Contracts or related field
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship)

Responsibilities

• Provide subcontracting process guidance and SME support to junior staff and teams
• Coordinate content for Subcontracts Community of Excellence meetings
• Train junior personnel in PrOP
• Serve as GSC focal point for audits and information requests
• Develop subcontract specs, statements of work, and terms for procuring materials and services
• Identify strategies to reduce costs and manage risk through negotiations
• Prepare bid packages, conduct bidder conferences, and evaluate proposals
• Negotiate subcontract provisions and write awards
