Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator III to support the senior subcontracts team in managing procurement actions for government and commercial programs.

The role coordinates with internal teams to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include cradle-to-grave support for RFPs and subcontract agreements, tracking deliverables, maintaining files, and assisting in negotiations with senior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of relevant experience in procurement, subcontracts, or supply chain management.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of procurement and government contracting principles (FAR/DFARS).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide cradle to grave administrative support for RFPs and subcontract agreements.
• Assist in tracking subcontractor and internal deliverables, ensuring compliance with contracts.
• Maintain and update procurement files with accurate documentation.
• Support invoice review and reconciliation processes with internal teams.
• Participate in subcontract negotiations alongside senior staff.
• Prepare reports, metrics, and presentations to support team objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address subcontractor issues.
• Perform additional duties as required by senior staff and management.
