Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. in Germantown/Herndon/Arlington area seeks a Subcontracts Administrator III to support the senior team in managing government and commercial contracts. This role involves cradle to grave oversight of RFPs and subcontract management, ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance across programs.

You will coordinate with internal teams, track deliverables, and maintain procurement files while supporting negotiations and monthly reporting to drive program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of procurement, subcontracts, or supply chain management experience.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and government contracting principles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide cradle to grave support for RFPs and subcontract management.
• Track subcontractor deliverables, schedules, and budgets for compliance.
• Maintain procurement files and ensure regulatory documentation.
• Assist in invoice review and reconciliation with internal teams.
• Participate in subcontract negotiations and term development.
• Prepare reports and metrics to support management decisions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address issues.
