The ideal candidate will manage complex subcontracts, interact with multiple stakeholders, and operate within established authority while supporting a fast-paced defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Five years of professional experience in Purchasing, Expediting, Subcontract Management, Material Management, Planning, or related.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and execution of subcontract packages.
• Coordinate with contracts and purchasing to ensure policy compliance.
• Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms for materials and services.
• Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, and evaluate proposals.
• Negotiate subcontract provisions, awards, and modifications.
• Collaborate with contracts administration and purchasing to shape subcontract policies.
• Authorize supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
