Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Colorado is seeking a Subcontract Manager to oversee supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on complex programs. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, develop subcontract specs, and manage bids, awards and contract changes within LM and FAR guidelines.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with several years of procurement experience, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
• 3+ years of professional experience.
• Experience leading negotiations with suppliers.
• Procurement of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment.
• Knowledge of standard acquisition policies.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk subcontracts.
• Lead multifunctional subcontract management teams and sign supplier agreements.
• Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions.
• Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, evaluate proposals, negotiate provisions.
• Select subcontractors, write packages, prepare awards, and administer subcontracts and changes.
