Job summary

BKF Engineers in California is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead structural projects from procurement through closeout. You will oversee field teams, review submittals, manage change orders, and coordinate with clients and agencies to ensure on-time, safe delivery.

The role requires a CA PE, 7+ years in bridge/structures, and strong communication. We're looking for autonomous professionals who value collaboration, rigorous documentation, and delivering high-quality infrastructure

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is required.
• California registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required.
• 7+ years of construction contract management experience on bridge/structures projects.

Responsibilities

• Provides independent analysis of technical submittals (shoring, falsework).
• Reviews change orders, submittals, shop drawings, and materials testing; prepares communications.
• Performs construction engineering for bridges, walls, pump stations, and buildings.
